For the 2021 model year, Yamaha has given one of its most popular naked bikes an aesthetic refresh. Since its launch in 2015, the Yamaha MT-07 has been the Tuning Fork Company’s top-selling model in multiple markets. What many regarded as a minor matter after the extremely successful FZ-09, has now become the MT-09 and has proven to be a very versatile machine that can perform tasks from sports to tours and adventures.

Of course, with the 2021 model now available in most markets, aftermarket manufacturers are also updating their product offerings to match the updated model. SW-Motech, a popular equipment and luggage manufacturer, recently launched a range of accessories for the new MT-07. Everything from luggage options, luggage racks and impact protection is available on SW-Motech’s e-commerce platform. Let’s take a look at some notable elements.

To start with, SW-Motech is re-introducing its popular Pro range of tank bags for the MT-07 2021. Tank bags are available in various sizes from Trial, Sport, Daypack and Micro with a capacity of 3 liters for commuter purposes; up to 18 liters, for longer trips outside the city. The soft cases from SW-Motech from the Pro Blaze series are also available for the MT-07, the spacers of which are slightly adapted to the current model. The bag is now a bit higher on the right to accommodate the bike’s exhaust system. The quick release system from SW-Motech remains unchanged in this model.

Other luggage solutions include bolt-on luggage racks and luggage racks such as the SLC rack, Legend Gear saddlebags and Urban ABS side cases. These high-performance solutions are ideal for anyone who wants to take the MT-07 with them on long-distance tours or trips out of town for several days. The luggage racks are also compatible with certain soft luggage from SW-Motech. In the meantime, there are also the tail bags of the Pro range from SW-Motech for those of you who prefer to pack easily. Choose from the narrow Pro Roadpack with expandable storage space from 8 to 14 liters or the larger Pro Rearbag and Pro Cargobag.

SW-Motech brings new slim and functional lever guards onto the market

Last but not least, SW-Motech has also released a new impact protection for the 2021 model, which is slightly different from its predecessors. A new engine guard, crash pad kit, side stand foot extension and sporty lever guards are now also available. All of the accessories listed above, as well as a whole range of screw-on luggage options, are available for the Yamaha MT-07 2021 on the official SW-Motech website linked below.
